The MPLP Statewide Foreclosure Prevention attorney, in collaboration with NCLC, will coordinate and support the work of the project and provide the following services:
 
  • Trainings: Coordinate and assist in trainings.
 
  • Task Force: Convene state task force meetings.
 
  • Litigation: Provide litigation support (including co-counseling and direct legal representation) and take the lead on impact litigation.
 
  • Field Assistance: Respond to requests for individual assistance on cases.
 
  • Legislative/Administrative Advocacy: Track legislative and administrative developments of significance to the project.
 
  • Publication: Provide regular updates on legal developments through the MPLP Newsletter and/or issue alerts.
